In case you were too busy watching the Bundesliga return to action, here are some headlines and rumors from the weekend:

  • Raul Jimenez Link

According to the Sunday Times, United and Juventus have made inquiries about the 28-year-old striker. and it appears that the Wolverhampton Wanderers are open to dealing away Jimenez, provided their asking fee is fulfilled. The Wanderers are reportedly asking £34 million ($41 million) for the Mexican striker. It was the same amount they paid when they took him in last 2018 from Benfica.

  • Angel Gomes to Roma

Roma are considering a move for Angel Gomes with is weeks away from being out of contract at United.

According to the Italian news outlet, Tutto Mercato, Gomes could have an option in Serie A if terms can’t be agreed on at Old Trafford

Gomes is also linked to a move to Chelsea as well.

  • £80m price-tag for Jack Grealish

Regardless if Aston Villa stays in the Premier League or gets relegated, they are still going to demand £80m for Jack Grealish.

The Mirror reports that this will not sway their thinking in the transfer market and the billionaire Villa owners will not be bullied to lower their asking price.

  • Moussa Dembele Signed?

An interesting (and unconfirmed) report from Todofichajes reporting that a deal has now been agreed between Manchester United and Lyon for the transfer of Moussa Dembele.

According to Todofichajes, a deal amounting £62m (€70m) has been accepted for Dembele who been on the radar for United for a while now.

The Frenchman has been in fine form for Lyon, scoring 42 times in 88 appearances after joining from Celtic in 2018.

Dayot Upamecano

Arsenal have made the RB Leipzig man a top target but could miss out due to their financial issues and that has left the door open for United, whose training facilities Upamecano visited before he joined Salzburg in 2016.

The Frenchman has a £53m release clause but could be allowed to leave for less, as he is in the final year of his contract.

The reports add that Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City are also interested.
