Regardless of your opinion on West Ham United, they just might become every Manchester United fan’s second favorite club.
According to a report from FC Inter News, West Ham United have been in contact with Manchester United and Inter Milan flop Alexis Sanchez’s agent to get a feel for a potential summer move ……. no, it still isn’t April 1st.
Sanchez is currently on loan at the Italian side but with a season marred with injury, limiting him to just 15 appearances in all competitions and one goal and three assists, Inter feel that the €12m a year wage are ‘unthinkable’ for Antonio Conte’s side.
Manchester United shipped the poor performing Snachez out for a reason and aren’t keen on having him or his contract back, especially with all the positive moves this season, and are looking for any team that can afford the hefty price tag.
West Ham are not exactly a super-rich club but have been rumored to be in contact with Sánchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich as they consider a potential move this summer.
Even if Sanchez’s wages were half the price, it would still be quite an investment in an aging 31-year-old Sanchez on the downward side of a career, regardless, any rumor like this has to give every United (Manchester) fan hope.
