Barcelona’s 16-year-old wunderkind Marc Jurado has caught the eye of Manchester United and Spanish paper, Sport, mentioned the United have enquired to Barca via email about their plans for the young center-back.
Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy has produced the likes of Messi, Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol, and Pep Guardiola to name a few, now their newest up and coming star dubbed “the leader of his generation.”
The 16-year-old prodigy plays center-back and Barca as you can expect to want to keep him as long as possible and are optimistic about getting him under a long-term contract when he is eligible.
United have identified Jurado as a huge talent and a key target to develop his skill in United’s Youth Academy.
Manchester United has had previous experience with La Masia, former Red Devil Gerard Pique was a member of the academy.
