Despite not seeing the field since the 2016-17 season, Manchester United have extended Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s contract for one more year.
According to MEN, Fosu-Mensah contract was supposed to expire at the end of this season but will now be at Old Trafford until the end of next year.
The 22-year-old center back hasn’t kicked a ball for United since the close of the 2016/17 campaign. He has, however, spent a season on loan at Crystal Palace, where he performed well, and one at Fulham, where he was below-par as the Whites were relegated.
Manchester United have been very active in securing their young first team players, Eric Bailly and Nemanja Matic have seen their stays at Old Trafford extended by two years and one year respectively.
