Manchester United’s summer transfer list took a big hit when Leicester City’s James Maddison hinted that he is “very, very happy” with the Foxes.
Maddison along with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish are two players that are getting the most attention from United as possible summer transfers but now it sounds like that list is one player lighter.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add a new attacking midfield option to his squad this summer, however, the 23-year-old insists he is still very happy at Leicester and is very happy to be a key member of Brendan Rodgers’ long-term plans.
“It’s been a whirlwind two years and I’ve loved every second of it,” he told LCFC TV.
“I feel right at home at Leicester. I feel like part of the furniture already and I love it here.
“I love the lads, I love the fans, (we’ve got) a great manager, so I’m very, very happy.”
Both Maddison and Leicester have exceeded expectations already this season with the Foxes third in the Premier League before football’s suspension last month.
