As the coronavirus pandemic continues to put the football world on hold, smaller market teams will start to feel the economic impact. According to The Sun, Bournemouth, in particular, will be looking to sell their emerging talents to retain some funds while play has stopped.
This rekindles Manchester United’s interest in the Cherries young forward David Brooks. Tottenham are also interested in a potential transfer.
Brooks, a Welsh international, has played in 33 matches for Bournemouth this season and has seven goals and five assists to his name before play stopped worldwide.
In the past, the Cherries have collected a lot of younger players in the hopes of selling them for a profit but unfortunately, that tactic hasn’t worked as planned.
As a result, Owner Maxim Demin is open to the potential of selling his players that have attracted the interest of bigger clubs including, Callum Wilson and Josh King along with David Brooks.
